MCR runs as a true team. We’re individual drivers but we’re very much part of the MCR team; this year I can’t recall any car not being race-ready at any point, irrespective of technical, mechanical or contact; nothing ever phases the team. No one is ever left out. The spirit of the team is to help, encourage and support each other and as such, it’s the most fun team, the most relaxed team and the most winning team I’ve ever been part of.
I wouldn’t want to race with any other team; and I’m not the fastest – we have the reigning champion and several other top 10 drivers in MCR – yet MCR makes me faster. Mike takes time to review my data and videos and I know I’m a better driver for being in MCR.

Having front running team mates at MCR, including the current champion, is great for a newcomer as we all share data, onboard videos and tips which is priceless when you are aiming to improve your lap times as quickly as possible
By running a Mazda specialist garage in the week, MCR are the best equipped team to support you on weekends. Having the 4 wheel laser alignment made a significant difference to my mk1s handling and I gained 1 second a lap straight out the box.
MCR are the best team in the paddock from racing to laughing and even provide a paddling pool!!
Mechanics are awesome. Had my front end replaced in 2 hours at Pembrey to get me out for the 2nd race and a gearbox replaced in under 90 mins to get me out for race 3 at Donington
