Professional race team currently supporting BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship BRSCC Supercup/ Superseries 750MC 5Club MX5 Championship

MCR is a professional Race Team set up by Mike and Dani Comber, currently running cars and Drivers in the BRSCC Mazda MX5 Championship and BRSCC Supercup as well as the750MC 5Club MX5 Championship. 

Mike has been running Drivers since 2009 throughout various Motorsport divisions, with great success stories including his own; Having won numerous British Karting Championships and Car Championships, and having recently won the 24 hour C1 Race at Rockingham, alongside some of our fellow MCR drivers, Mike now focuses his time on supporting others . MCR has supported Will Blackwell- Chambers to victory through two Mazda MX5 championship titles, and Mike himself finished the championship this year with the most championship points.

Mike has been involved in Motorsport as a driver and repairing/preparing race cars for over 10 years.  He has also run front running National racing drivers in the MSA Super 1 series. This involved mechanicing on the vehicles and acting as race engineer, selecting the vehicle set-up, plus driver coaching and race strategy.

So Mike’s invaluable experience within a motorsport environment covers everything from mechanicing to driving to car set up and driver coaching.

His  motor racing career to date has resulted in the following succeses.
